Shelby graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion in 2019. She was a member of Michigan State University Army ROTC, and is currently serving in the Ohio National Guard as a medical service officer while obtaining her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy from The Ohio State University. Shelby has worked in the adaptive athlete community for years and is very passionate about improving the quality of life for Soldiers and Veterans.
